Core texts: This course will be based on Naḥw Mīr by Sayyid Sharīf al-Jurjānī, a classic text in the basics of Arabic syntax authored by one of the greatest grammarians of this tradition. This text gained great acceptance throughout the Islamic tradition and is taught in many seminaries as part of the traditional 'Dars-i Nizami' syllabus.
