The duas of Umrah

Ghafir 40:60

The intention for Umrah

Allāhumma innī urīdu al-ʿumrata fa yassirhā lī wa taqabbalhā minnī

O Allah, I intend Umrah, so make it easy for me and accept it from me.

The wording given in the Hanafi manuals

The talbiyah

Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. All praise and all blessing are Yours, and all dominion. You have no partner.

Bukhari and Muslim

At Masjid al-Haram

Entering the masjid

Bismillāh, wa al-ṣalātu wa al-salāmu ʿalā rasūlillāh. Allāhumma iftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik

In the name of Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy.

Muslim and Ibn Majah

On first seeing the Kaaba

Allāhumma anta al-salām wa minka al-salām, fa ḥayyinā rabbanā bi al-salām

O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace, so greet us, our Lord, with peace. Then ask for whatever you wish. It is also reported that the Prophet ﷺ raised his hands on seeing the Kaaba and asked Allah to increase the honour, respect and reverence of the House, and the honour and rank of the one who performs Hajj or Umrah.

Reported from Sayyiduna ʿUmar on seeing the House (Bayhaqi)

In tawaf

At the Black Stone

Bismillāh, Allāhu akbar

In the name of Allah. Allah is the Greatest.

The takbir is in Bukhari, and Ibn ʿUmar added the Bismillah (Bayhaqi)

Between the Yamani corner and the Black Stone

Rabbanā ātinā fi al-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fi al-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā ʿadhāba al-nār

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Abu Dawud

At Maqam Ibrahim

Wa ittakhidhū min maqāmi Ibrāhīma muṣallā

And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer.

al-Baqarah 2:125 (Muslim)

Drinking Zamzam

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka ʿilman nāfiʿan, wa rizqan wāsiʿan, wa shifāʾan min kulli dāʾ

O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that benefits, provision that is wide, and healing from every illness.

Reported from Ibn ʿAbbas (Daraqutni)

In Sa'i

Approaching Safa

Inna al-ṣafā wa al-marwata min shaʿāʾirillāh. Abdaʾu bimā badaʾa Allāhu bih

Indeed Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. I begin with what Allah began with.

Muslim

On Safa and Marwah

Lā ilāha illā Allāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamd, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr. Lā ilāha illā Allāhu waḥdah, anjaza waʿdah, wa naṣara ʿabdah, wa hazama al-aḥzāba waḥdah

There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. There is no god but Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, gave victory to His servant and defeated the confederates alone.

Muslim, said three times with dua in between

Between the green lights

Rabbi ighfir wa irḥam, innaka anta al-aʿazzu al-akram

My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the Most Mighty, the Most Generous.

Reported from Ibn Masʿud and Ibn ʿUmar (Ibn Abi Shaybah)

Leaving the masjid

On leaving

Allāhumma innī asʾaluka min faḍlik

O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty.

Muslim
