Planning
When is the best time to perform Umrah?
Umrah can be made at any time of year, except that the Hanafi school holds it to be disliked on the Day of Arafah and the four days after it, the 9th to the 13th of Dhul Hijjah. Quieter months make the rites easier.

Any time of year
There is no fixed time for Umrah. The Prophet ﷺ said that an Umrah in Ramadan is equal to a Hajj in reward (Bukhari). See Umrah in Ramadan.
Disliked days
The Hanafi school holds Umrah to be disliked on the five days of Hajj: the day of Arafah (9th), the day of Nahr (10th) and the three days of Tashriq (11th to 13th) of Dhul Hijjah.
Quieter months
Quieter months make the rites easier, especially for the elderly. See how long Umrah takes.
